Pinckneyville is a perfect 9-0 against Benton since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rangers at 4:30 p.m. Pinckneyville is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

On Thursday, Pinckneyville got the win against Nashville by a conclusive 14-3. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by six runs or more this season.

Benton hadn't beaten Massac County on the road since April 8, 2019 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Rangers came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 7-4.

Malia Webb (2025) was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. McKenna Drew was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Pinckneyville's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Benton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Everything went Pinckneyville's way against Benton in their previous matchup last Tuesday, as Pinckneyville made off with an 18-4 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rangers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
