Basketball Recap: Wayside: Sci-Tech Drops Season-High Score on Harmony School of Excellence-Austin

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayside: Sci-Tech). They walked away with a 63-50 victory over the Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin Tigers on Tuesday. The Ravens have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Akanni Caesar, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Noe Arias, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds.

The win got Wayside: Sci-Tech back to even at 2-2. As for Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin, their defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing IDEA Montopolis the next time they take the court. Harmony School Of Excellence-Austin will head out to face IDEA Montopolis at 6:45 p.m. on January 7, 2025, while Wayside: Sci-Tech will head out to face them at 6:45 p.m. on January 21, 2025.
