Basketball Game Preview: Glen Lake Lakers vs. Benzie Central Huskies

The Glen Lake Lakers will venture away from home to challenge the Benzie Central Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Glen Lake sitting on 11 straight wins and Benzie Central on five.

On Saturday, Glen Lake was able to grind out a solid victory over Walled Lake Western, taking the game 65-57. Given the Lakers' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Warriors are ranked 333rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Benzie Central didn't have too much trouble with Suttons Bay on Thursday as they won 53-38.

Benzie Central's record is now 11-7. As for Glen Lake, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1.

Glen Lake beat Benzie Central 65-58 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glen Lake since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
