Football Recap: Episcopal School of Jacksonville's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

After flying high against Stanton last Friday, Episcopal School of Jacksonville came back down to earth. The Eagles fell 35-25 to the Providence School Stallions on Friday. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this game were averaging 8.75 points allowed.

Despite the loss, Episcopal School of Jacksonville still got an impressive performance from Brayden Wessinger, who picked up 207 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Wessinger really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 75 yards.

Jake Contner was a one-man wrecking crew For Providence School. as he picked up 110 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. They also got a significant boost from Caden Jones, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 117 yards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Episcopal School of Jacksonville fell to 3-1. As for Providence School, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Episcopal School of Jacksonville will host KIPP Bold City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Providence School, they will be playing at home against Pensacola Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
