Recap: Founders Christian Falcons vs. Houston Adventist Academy
The Founders Christian Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 77-46 victory over Houston Adventist Academy. The result was nothing new for Founders Christian, who have now won five contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Founders Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jackson Jones led the charge by going 7 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points and 1 assists. That's the first time this season that Jones scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Baker, who almost dropped a triple-double on 13 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists.
Several Houston Adventist Academy players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ottis Crudup III , who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Crudup III scored a full 54.3% of Houston Adventist Academy's points, the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Nate Morrison was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with four steals.
Founders Christian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Houston Adventist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
