Monterey not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Palo Duro between 18 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18, 25-18.

Coronado's defeat dropped their record down to 18-14. As for Monterey, their win bumped their record up to 21-11.
