Volleyball Recap: Jones Starts off Right with Win over Industrial

Jones took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. Everything went their way against the Industrial Cobras as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

While Jones won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-18.

Jones was led to victory by Julianna Delarosa and Gabriella Pesina. Delarosa had 11 digs and one block, while Pesina had 16 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Delarosa has posted since back in October of 2024.

Coming up, Jones will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bishop at 6:00 p.m. As for Industrial, they will head out to challenge St. Joseph at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
