Baseball Recap: Mount Desert Island Trojans vs. Bucksport Golden Bucks

In what's become a running theme this season, Mount Desert Island gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They beat the Bucksport Golden Bucks by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-0. Mount Desert Island's win was all the more impressive since Bucksport was averaging only 3.89 runs allowed on the season.

Preston Tripp made a splash while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over five innings pitched. Tripp has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
