James Logan has gone a perfect 10-0 against Irvington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Colts are taking a road trip to take on the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. James Logan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Irvington's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

James Logan is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Castro Valley just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 8-1 to the Trojans.

James Logan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Medellin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Irvington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Mission San Jose.

Ixayana Vera put in work no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. Vera was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 9-2-1. As for Irvington, their record now sits at 6-5.

Monday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. James Logan hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .346. However, it's not like Irvington struggles in that department as they've averaged .416. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
