It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Calais had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Orono Riots by a score of 6-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Blue Devils as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Noah White was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Calais is 5-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 2-6 otherwise. White was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
