Climax-Scotts came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points), and they left with even more momentum. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 45-41 W against the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 63-20 victory back in February.

Climax-Scotts pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points over those games. As for St. Philip Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Climax-Scotts Panthers duke it out with Lawrence Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lawrence will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Climax-Scotts surely won't give up without a fight.
