Volleyball Recap: Griffin Academy Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Griffin Academy's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Aspire Richmond Ca. College Preparatory Academy Grizzlies by a score of 3-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Griffins as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Griffin Academy was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 15-25, 25-13.

Griffin Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Aspire Richmond Ca. College Preparatory Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Griffin Academy will challenge Coliseum College Prep Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Aspire Richmond Ca. College Preparatory Academy and Golden State Prep will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 5:00 p.m. on March 17th.
