            Benjamin Franklin hasn't had much luck against Carver Vo-Tech recently, but that could start to change  on Saturday. The Bayhawks will face off against the Bears at 3:00  p.m. Benjamin Franklin has given up an average of 34.7  points per game this season, but Saturday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Meanwhile, Carver Vo-Tech waltzed into their matchup  on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They took their  contest  with ease, bagging  a  37-6 win over the Falcons. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won three games by 20  points or more  so far this season.
Carver Vo-Tech found their leader in sophomore  Elijah Jones, who picked up  four  sacks and made eight total tackles.  Christian Bryant showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 57 yards.
 Carver Vo-Tech was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 202  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 154  rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
 One reason for the win was Carver Vo-Tech's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by  Jones and  Jordan Baskerville, who racked up  six sacks between them. Jones is becoming a predictor of Carver Vo-Tech's success: when he posts  at  least one  sack the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
