Football Recap: Kearny Komets vs. Rock Academy Warriors
On Friday, the Kearny Komets took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 49-9 win over the Rock Academy Warriors. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Komets.
A big part of the victory came down to the chemistry between Brodie Stump and his top target Zaiden Gravely. Stump threw for 344 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes while Gravely picked up 150 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Gravely's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 122 receiving yards dating back to last season. Zeni Reyes was in the mix as well, providing Kearny with two touchdowns.

Kearny will take on Santa Rosa Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rock Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Castle Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rock Academy focused on turnovers this week as team gave up five on Friday.
