Lakeside's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Madison Blue Streaks as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Dragons as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-21.

Izzy Sorrentino paced Lakeside's offense, picking up seven kills. Sorrentino got some help from Gabby Kaplan and her ten assists. Kaplan also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kalexia Medina, each putting up four.

Lakeside's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Madison, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Lakeside has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Harvey on the 1st. As for Madison, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Geneva on the 2nd.
