Basketball Game Preview: Northwest Halifax Vikings vs. Wilson Prep Tigers

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Wilson Prep faced off against Rocky Mount Prep on Tuesday. Wilson Prep strolled past Rocky Mount Prep with points to spare, taking the game 87-73. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Jaguars are ranked 458th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wilson Prep is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.6 points per game. As for Northwest Halifax, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
