Hampton's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Meridian, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hampton will be home for the holidays to greet Lawrence-Nelson at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lawrence-Nelson presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Hampton in Nebraska (Lawrence-Nelson is ranked 99th, while Hampton is ranked 231st).
