Softball Recap: Simi Valley Pioneers vs. Torrance Tartars
Simi Valley got themselves on the board against Torrance on Saturday, but Torrance never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Torrance Tartars with a sharp 7-0 win. Considering the Pioneers have won four contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Not much got past Francesca Hall, who gave up just two hits to keep Torrance off the board. Hall has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aurora Zepeda was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Victoria Abrams, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
