Volleyball Recap: Mt. Whitney Takes a Loss

Mt. Whitney lost against Porterville back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pioneers came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-21, 25-20.

Mt. Whitney's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Porterville, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mt. Whitney is set to face off against their familiar foe Monache at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Porterville will square off against rival El Diamante at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
