If Ursuline Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Wylie, they should've done a better job of containing Olivia Royal. The Pirates came out on top against the Bears by a score of 3-1 on Friday with plenty of help from Royal, who had ten digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 18 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Wylie's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Ursuline Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Wylie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against John Paul II on the 16th. Ursuline Academy has also already played their next game (against Providence Classical), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
