Baseball Recap: Grosse Pointe North Takes a Loss

Grosse Pointe North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the Pioneer Pioneers.

Grosse Pointe North saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was DJ Edwards, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Grosse Pointe North's loss dropped their record down to 3-18-1. As for Pioneer, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10.

Coming up, Grosse Pointe North will head out to challenge St. Clair at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Saints have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Pioneer, they will take on Huron at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
