Basketball Recap: Nowata Takes a Loss

Nowata was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 32-16 to the Caney Valley Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-33 back in January.

Nowata's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18-1. As for Caney Valley, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

As of now, neither Nowata nor Caney Valley have any future games scheduled.
