Softball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Warriors vs. University Heights Blazers
After flying high against Dawson Springs last Monday, Heritage Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Heritage Christian Academy Warriors wound up on the wrong side of a tough 22-12 walloping at the hands of the University Heights Blazers on Thursday. Heritage Christian Academy was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as University Heights apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March.
Rachel Robson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava DeJager, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
