Volleyball Recap: Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Comes Up Short

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Wabasso Rabbits. If the Thunderbirds were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Rabbits when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wabasso, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop will host Cedar Mountain at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wabasso, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Redwood Valley at 9:00 a.m.
