Softball Recap: Shenandoah Valley Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Shenandoah Valley's offense. They lost 15-0 to the Mahanoy Area Golden Bears on Friday. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Golden Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Shenandoah Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Mahanoy Area, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Shenandoah Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 17-4 victory against Nativity BVM on the 9th. As for Mahanoy Area, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-1 defeat against Tamaqua on the 9th.
