Soccer Recap: Thetford Academy Comes Up Short

Thetford Academy lost against Stowe back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Thetford Academy have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Thetford Academy and nudges their season record down to 7-5. As for Stowe, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Thetford Academy is set to take on their familiar foe U-32 at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Stowe will face off against rival North Country Union at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
