Baseball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

After flying high against Liberty last Friday, Heritage came back down to earth. The Coyotes fell just short of the Frisco Raccoons by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Coyotes have struggled against the Raccoons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Nolan Swyers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16-1. As for Frisco, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

While Heritage had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
