Penn Cambria won the last time they faced Greater Johnstown and things went their way on Monday too. The Panthers blew past the Trojans 3-0. The Panthers not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 9th (when they won 3-0).

One reason for the win was Penn Cambria's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11, 25-3.

Lily Gergely paced Penn Cambria's offense, picking up seven kills. Gergely got some help from Madelyn Kittell and her 18 assists. Makenna McCoy controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Penn Cambria has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season. As for Greater Johnstown, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Penn Cambria is set to challenge their familiar foe Westmont Hilltop at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Greater Johnstown will take on rival Bishop Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
