Tri County Area came out on top against Morley Stanwood on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Vikings walked away with an 8-5 win over the Mohawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-2 on Friday.

The victory made it two in a row for Tri County Area and bumps their season record up to 5-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Morley Stanwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tri County Area is set to take on their familiar foe Newaygo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Morley Stanwood will face off against rival Lakeview at 4:00 p.m. on May 5.
