Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the East Bladen Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, 25-9.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for East Bladen, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Lakewood will take on rival North Duplin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Bladen is set to challenge their familiar foe East Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
