Volleyball Recap: Gary West Side Takes a Loss

Gary West Side was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the East Chicago Central Cardinals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-10, 25-11.

Gary West Side's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for East Chicago Central, their win bumped their record up to 3-8.

Coming up, Gary West Side will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Illiana Christian at 6:00 p.m. As for East Chicago Central, they will challenge 21st Century Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
