It's playoff time, and Kickapoo had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Blue Springs South Jaguars on Friday, sneaking past 3-1. This was payback for the Chiefs, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Kickapoo has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. As for Blue Springs South, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-9 record.

Kickapoo will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Jaguars: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
