Baseball Recap: Collins Comes Up Short

Collins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 13-6 to the Richton Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-4 on Tuesday.

Collins saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JAYDEN BUCKHALTER, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. DAEJEAN CARTER was another, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Collins' loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for Richton, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-18.

Collins does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richton, they will square off against Lumberton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
