Basketball Recap: Poly Engineers vs. Edgewood Rams
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Poly had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They walked away with a 62-55 win over the Edgewood Rams. Winning may never get old, but the Engineers sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Poly found their leader in sophomore London Elliot, who posted 25 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Elliot has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brianna Pope, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.
Poly's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Edgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-6-1.
Looking ahead, Poly won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Milford Mill Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Elliot and Tatyana Fields. Edgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
