            Softball Recap: Overhills Jaguars vs. Western Harnett Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Overhills finally came back down to earth  on Tuesday. They lost  10-2 to the Western Harnett Eagles. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Jaguars in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

 Overhills saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Serenity McLean, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  double. McLean has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played.
Overhills' defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Western Harnett, the  win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-5.
 Looking ahead, Western Harnett will take on Union Pines at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Overhills will be paying especially close attention to Western Harnett's  game: after Western Harnett faces off against Union Pines, they'll take on Overhills again  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday.
