Volleyball Recap: Reedy Has No Trouble Against Turner

Fans were treated to a battle of the Lions on Tuesday. Reedy blew past Turner 3-0. Reedy hasn't had any issues with Turner recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Reedy took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-13, 25-9.

Paige Hawkinson was nothing short of spectacular: she had 20 assists and nine aces. Those nine aces gave her a new career-high. Lexi North also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Reedy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Turner only served three.

Reedy's victory bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Turner, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.

Reedy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Highland Park on the 24th. As for Turner, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Wakeland on the 24th.
