Softball Recap: Merkel Badgers vs. Sweetwater Mustangs
Merkel waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Sweetwater Mustangs with a sharp 10-3 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-3 back in March.

McKinley Crouch spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 21 consecutive appearances.
