Kadence Reibold and Avery Bealer did some serious damage despite the final result: Reibold scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances, while Bealer scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Rowlands, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Washington-Marion fell victim to Iowa and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 16-0.

Washington-Marion has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season. As for Leesville, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
