Spencer is 9-1 against Hardaway since December of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Spencer Greenwave just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Hardaway Hawks at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Spencer will head into Monday's game out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They had to suffer through a 86-53 loss at the hands of Westlake. While losing is never fun, the Greenwave can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Lions are ranked 27th).

Meanwhile, after soaring to 59 points the game before, Hardaway was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They were dealt a 54-23 loss at the hands of Sumter County. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Hardaway got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Arthur Jordan and Tristan Jackson, who each put up five points.

Hardaway's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Spencer, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Spencer skirted past Hardaway 57-54 in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Hardaway's Mekhi Benton, who went 8 of 15 en route to 20 points and four steals.
