Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Slidell). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 92-34 win over the Chico Dragons. The Greyhounds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Chico still got an impressive performance from Jordan Weiland, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 boards. The contest was Weiland's seventh in a row with at least ten points.

The victory was the third in a row for Slidell, bringing their record for this year to 11-6. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.0 points per game. As for Chico, their loss dropped their record down to 11-9.

Slidell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-63 win against Lake Worth on the 27th. As for Chico, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alvord at 11:00 a.m. on December 31st.
