Basketball Game Recap: Centura Centurions vs. St. Paul Wildcats

St. Paul came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Centura, but Weston Kroeger wouldn't allow it. The Centura Centurions secured a 44-38 W over the St. Paul Wildcats on Tuesday thanks in part to Kroeger, who went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points and three steals. Those three steals gave him a new career-high.

Tyus Francl was another key player, putting up ten points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

Centura's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-9. As for St. Paul, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Ravenna the next time they take the court. Centura will head out to face Ravenna at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while St. Paul will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
