Lodge Grass and Manhattan squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Lodge Grass had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Manhattan Tigers by a score of 43-41. The Indians' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lodge Grass' loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Manhattan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-12.

Coming up, Lodge Grass will be taking part in a tournament against Jefferson at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Jefferson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.1 points per game this season. Manhattan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
