Volleyball Recap: Heritage Wins Going Away Against Ridgeland

Heritage not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ridgeland Panthers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory last Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Heritage took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9, 25-11.

Addyson Morrison had a dynamite game, getting 11 digs and seven aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (six). Madison Sertel was another key player, getting seven digs and five aces.

Heritage's record is now 21-19. As for Ridgeland, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-26.

Heritage has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against LaFayette on the 7th. Ridgeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
