Soccer Recap: First Baptist School Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, First Baptist School was not quite Palmetto Christian Academy's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of Palmetto Christian Academy by a score of 3-2. The Hurricanes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Palmetto Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Reece Tipton and Fynn Domrese scored both of First Baptist School's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

This is the second loss in a row for First Baptist School and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Baptist School will welcome John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. First Baptist School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Pinewood Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
