Mt. Spokane and Central Valley are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Bears at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Mt. Spokane is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand Hermiston a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Mt. Spokane, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Central Valley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Blackhawks with a sharp 3-0 win.

Central Valley's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Mt. Spokane, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4-2.
