Baseball Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short

Dunbar fell victim to East Lee County and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the East Lee County Jaguars, falling 11-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dunbar's record now sits at 1-8. As for East Lee County, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunbar will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Gateway at 6:00 p.m. on March 27th. East Lee County also won't see the field for a while: their next game is against Immokalee at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th.
