Basketball Game Preview: Vigor Wolves vs. Faith Academy Rams

The Vigor Wolves will head out on the road to square off against the Faith Academy Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Vigor's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

Vigor will head into Friday's match eager for some revenge after what happened against LeFlore: Vigor blew LeFlore out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday LeFlore got their revenge. Vigor fell just short of LeFlore by a score of 59-56. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Faith Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a hard 58-44 fall against St. Paul's Episcopal.

Faith Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Vigor, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-8.

Everything came up roses for Vigor against Faith Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured an 80-49 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vigor since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
