Basketball Recap: Clinton-Massie Takes a Loss

Clinton-Massie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 66-19 loss at the hands of the Western Brown Broncos. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-5.

Western Brown's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was J Jenike, who went 6 of 11 on her way to 15 points and five steals. Jenike is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lu Waters, who posted 11 points and five steals.

Clinton-Massie's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Western Brown, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Clinton-Massie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 62-35 loss against Whiteoak on the 21st. Western Brown and Eastern will round out the year against one another at on Friday. Western Brown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.4 points per game this season.
