While National Trail didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions by a score of 38-26 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blazers.

National Trail's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. National Trail will head out to take on Twin Valley South at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. National Trail has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Emmanuel Christian Academy, they will take on Newton Local at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
