Basketball Recap: Manchester Township Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Manchester Township Hawks ended up a good deal behind the Holmdel Hornets and lost 77-62. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Hornets are ranked 61st).

Manchester Township's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Holmdel, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Manchester Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holmdel, they will take on Roselle on February 27th.
